EXECUTIVE
SUMMARY - ACCOMPLISHMENT CY 2002
For CY 2002, the Mines
and Geosciences Bureau, Regional Office No. V, Daraga, Albay attained an
average percentage accomplishment of 107.09%. For the Twelve (12) Key
Result Areas (KRAs) under the Mineral Lands Administration (III.A) and
Geosciences Development and Services (III.B) As of this period, a total of P 15,704,192.82 was expended for Personal Services while under MOOE, it was P4,115,089.96. Revenue generated as of December 10, 2002 is P455,702.35 which were derived from sales of forms/maps, filing and processing fees, certification/registration fees, clearance fees, docket fees, application fees, laboratory analysis, violation of DAO 2000-98, and other regulatory fees while reported revenues from LGU's totaled to P4,571,340.89 as payment for occupation/rental fees, extraction and excise fees. Issues on treasure hunting, operation of the Palanog cement plant, proposed polymetallic project of Lafayette Phils. in Rapu-Rapu, Albay and regulation/monitoring of small scale mining activities confronted the Office which were addressed thru multi-sectoral efforts with LGU's, NGO's and PO's. |
